Middleboro Police Chief Joseph Perkins says one man is in custody following a shooting incident at a MassDOT public works depot.

Perkins says an extensive search took place, and a suspect was arrested around 11:30 Friday morning.

Around 9:05 a.m., Perkins says police responded to a Massachusetts Department of Transportation depot at 201 West Grove Street (Route 28).  About four to five shots were fired at the facility, hitting a window.  No injuries were reported.

A suspect fled into nearby woods, and police set up a perimeter. State Police responded from the nearby Middleboro barracks, SWAT teams, and police from nearby towns began a large-scale search.
