The Whale and Dolphin Conservation Joins WATD to Discuss Rescue Efforts

The Whale and Dolphin Conservation has joined the Greater Atlantic Regional Marine Mammal Stranding Network to help stranded seals, dolphins, whales, and porpoises.

Executive Director Regina Asmutis-Silvia and Stranding Coordinator Sarah McCormack spoke with WATD’s Christine James to discuss their efforts and how people can get involved.

If people find a stranded animal from Marshfield to Plymouth, they can call the response hotline at 617-688-6872, people can call the NOAA stranding hotline for locations from Maine to Virginia at 866-755-6622. More information can be found at Whales.org.
