In Pembroke, a 15-year-old student is facing charges after they were accused of bringing a weapon to school.

The student is facing charges that include Threats to Commit a Crime, Terroristic Threats, and Carrying a Dangerous Weapon on School Grounds.

In a separate incident, a 53-year-old man was arrested on Sunday after he was accused of breaking into a neighbor’s home. Police responded to a home on Farnum Road around 4:15 a.m. after a person said they were assaulted.

The suspect left the scene, and police located Donald Kernan, Jr. nearby. He began to struggle with a police officer in the street.

A taser was used multiple times, before three officers were able to arrest him.

Kernan is facing charges that include Unarmed Burglary, Vandalizing Property, Assault and Battery – Attempting to Disarm a Police Officer, and resisting arrest.
