A firefighter suffered minor injuries and six people were displaced after a three-alarm fire in Brockton.
Deputy Fire Chief Scott Albanese says they received calls reporting the fire at 41 Glenwood Street, just after 6 p.m. on Saturday.
He says the occupants of the home were able to get out safely.
Frigid temperatures hampered the operation; it took several hours to put out the fire due to the balloon-frame construction of the home.
More than five towns provided station coverage during the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, the Red Cross was called to assist the occupants of the home.
