Marshfield Energy Committee & Town-Sponsored Initiative – HeatSmart

Get Ready to Heat Smart Marshfield!

Join the Marshfield Energy Committee Wednesday, May 22nd at Ventress Memorial Library at 5:45pm to learn about the town-sponsored initiative – HeatSmart.

HeatSmart Marshfield is a joint supported program with the MassCEC (Massachusetts Clean Energy Center) and the DOER (Department of Energy Resources) to help residents and businesses save money on their high energy bills and introduce you to clean, efficient and affordable heating and cooling technologies.

You can save hundreds of dollars a year on your heating and cooling bills alone!

And, with a MassSave loan at 0% interest, you can start saving from day one, with no money down. Learn about renewable and energy-efficient technologies like air source heat pumps, solar hot water, ground source heat pumps, and modern wood heating.

The cost for installing these is very affordable with federal and state rebates and tax incentives. Decrease your dependence from costly gas, oil and electricity.

The HeatSmart team reviewed ten installer proposals for this program. The selection process was conducted by MassCEC, representatives of the Marshfield Energy Committee, volunteers, and municipal representatives. Selection criteria included installer experience, locality, product and systems quality, equipment and installation warranties, and pricing.

Pre-selecting the installers will allow you to reduce installation costs, get answers to your questions from qualified professionals who know and understand best how these technologies work.

So, come May 22nd to the Ventress Memorial Library to meet the installers, ask questions and get answers about clean efficient heating and cooling!
