About South Shore Senior News

South Shore Senior News delivers the latest information on the issues of interest to South Shore seniors, family members and loved ones to help our readers “age well, and enjoy themselves while doing it!” published monthly, this independently owned publication contains all original content from local experts in their fields; staff generated news stories and a wide range of special reports on the major aging issues of the day.

South Shore Senior News is distributed throughout 30 South Shore cities and towns and available for those over 50 years of age, their family members, care givers and other interested readers, free of charge at over 400 controlled circulation venues throughout the South Shore.

Published 12-times per year, South Shore Senior News delivers entertaining and informative articles of interest. All of the stories, reports and reviews concentrate on topics that are of direct interest to our targeted readership with a goal of helping to enhance the quality of their life.

South Shore Senior News provides targeted coverage of local news while providing feature articles on health and wellness, financial planning, elder law considerations, senior fitness and entertainment. All of our stories, reports and reviews are written by our staff and local authors who live and work throughout the south shore communities.

Meet the Hosts

img_0562 Patricia Abbate - Patti brings with her more than 30 years’ of experience in the fields of media relations, marketing communications, journalism, publishing and nonprofit management. She is also a photographer and enjoys capturing images along the scenic South Shore coast. She and Tom enjoy kayaking from their seaside home.


tom Thomas Foye - As a life-long entrepreneur, Tom has created many successful businesses including an insurance claims firm, a large a property management company and a heating services business. His hobbies include classic cars and motorcycles as well as riding his bicycle along the coastal roads.
