WATD Blues at Night

 Monday – Friday 10 p.m. – 2 a.m.

“Thank you to Peter Black for 27 Years of the Wide World of Blues on WATD. We wish Peter all the best on his retirement. For the rest of the summer, we hope you enjoy WATD Blues at Night. WATD Radio will announce a new program expected to start in September, 2018.”

January 2018 marks 26 years of the Wide World of Blues on WATD!

From BB King, Muddy Waters and Buddy Guy to Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Bonnie Raitt, the Wide World of Blues features both traditional and contemporary blues artists right here on 95.9 WATD.

Special Segments Include:

  • A live Jimi Hendrix track at midnight
  • “Turntable Tuesdays,” when Peter dusts off a portion of his personal room-filling vinyl record collection and plays classic — and some very rare — vinyl tracks, including a “deadicated” Grateful Dead “Live Dead” weekly feature from 11:00 p.m. – midnight.
  • Local Blues Calendar every night at 11:00 PM — listen in to find out where to see the best local bands in the area.
