If you’re in Holbrook this is the Easter Egg Hunt you want to join today at 2:00 p.m. for Holbrook’s First Easter Egg Hunt for 5th graders and younger to benefit Holbrook Santa. Holbrook Santa helps families in need over the holidays with toys. More information can be found HERETo attend this event it’s best to Pre-Register:  https://holbrook-moms-events.ticketleap.com/holbrook-easter-egg-hunt/   All members of the Holbrook Community are welcome. Tickets are $5 a child, with a max cost of $20 per family. Adults do not require tickets. If you would like to donate a ticket to a child in need, there is an option to check off at the end. Ticket sales will be limited to ensure that we have enough supplies for all children, and will not be available for sale the day of the event. We will be grouping each hunt by the child’s age; each group having a specific color coded wrist band separating out the little kids from the big ones! This egg hunt will be organized slightly differently than most; most of the eggs will be placed in the field empty, without a prize inside. A chosen few will have a golden coin inside indicating that your child has won one of our larger donated prizes! Once your child has chosen a total of 20 eggs, send them over to our PRIZE BINS! The remaining eggs will be redeemable for a different type of prize (candy, bubbles, etc). We hope that this can make our event a more allergy friendly event, as parents can oversee the prizes that their children collect. Please make sure that no individual child takes more than 20 eggs to ensure enough prizes for everyone. There will also be a visit from the Easter Bunny! Mr. Bunny will be onsite for photographs, for a $5 donation per photo. You will leave with your photo that day. Another photographer will be capturing key Egg Hunt moments! These photos will be available online.

Nutmeg the pony, Billy the goat, and the other barnyard regulars are also excited to see you after a long winter. Visit the barnyard with your family to brush a goat, make a barnyard craft, pet a chicken, and more. Talk to a friendly farmer and learn more about life of the farm. While you’re there, take a walk on one of the many farm trails and experience all that Weir River Farm has to offer! Every Saturday, 10am-2pm unless otherwise noted. Parking located at 140 Turkey Hill Lane, then walk down the farm “chute” to the barnyard. (Consider using a baby carrier in lieu of a stroller; the walk down the hill isn’t well suited for average strollers.)
