Tidmarsh Wildlife Sanctuary in Plymouth is where you should head to learn about the flight of the monarchs. With fall right around the corner it is time for one of nature’s most amazing events to take place, the migration of the monarchs. Join the Tidmarsh team from 1 – 2:30 p.m. for a walk and talk about the monarchs, their incredible journey, the obstacles they face, and most importantly, what you can do to help them! Head to Tidmarsh Sanctuary in Plymouth tonight for Sunset, Snacks and Bats at the Overlook. Suitable for kids of all ages, join the Tidmarsh team for a sunset stroll to the overlook to enjoy a lively presentation about some of the wonderful wildlife at Tidmarsh. The North Community Church’s 11th annual Rib Cook-off is today from 1:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. This is an annual fundraiser to help out the Marshfield food pantry Marshfield FACTS and NCC  missions. Bring a canned food item for the pantry and come and enjoy awesome ribs, delicious sides while listening to Jim Syliva play tunes. Sunday, September 8:

The 28th annual West Bridgewater Lions Club Park Day Celebration takes place today from 10:00 – 5:00 p.m. at War Memorial Park. The day includes jugglers, magicians, pony rides, hay rides, a car display, a craft fair and flea market along with food and great live music! For details visit westbridgewaterlions.com!


The Kingston Agricultural Council is bringing back the Kingston Agricultural Fair on Sunday from 1 – 5 on the Town Green. There will be live demonstrations, agricultural items for sale, farm produce, live animals and fun activities for the kids! You can then take mom and dad to the Kingston Library for their Librewery tour with some food trucks and great beers!


Marshfield LobsterFest was postponed Saturday to today from noon until 5:00 p.m. at Harbor Park in Green Harbor.
