The Kingston Public Library is kicking off their Fall Author Talks this week and at 7:10 a.m. author Roberta Gately joins us to tell us about her book: Footprints in the Dust: Nursing, Survival, Compassion, and Hope with Refugees Around the World. Roberta will be speaking Thursday, September 12th at 7pm at the Kingston Council on Aging on Evergreen Street. 

At 8:10 a.m. David Snell joins us from ACTSmart I.T. for our Tech Talk Tuesday segment, giving us the skinny on all these technology and keeping us safe online.

And during our Paws n Claws segment today we’ll learn all about a day in the life of a working dog. Tiger is a police dog and we’ll chat with Officer Aida Rodriguez, Tiger’s handler, about Tiger’s duties and life on and off the clock! Tiger’s story is featured in the National Geographic  Kids Doggy Defender series featuring dogs with jobs! We’ll have a copy of the book to give away after our interview with Officer Rodriguez at 9:22 a.m.
