Matt Heaton, Rockabilly Music Concert, will be held in the Merry Room of the Duxbury Free Library, today at 10:30. His songs are a mix of rockabilly, American roots and Irish traditional music delivered with humor and fun. Great for families with listeners of all ages. Keep your reading skills sharp by reading to Salty, the newest member of Hingham Library’s Reading Therapy Dog team. Salty is a 13-year-old Chihuahua who is a gentle and patient listener and a certified therapy dog. Salty will be at the library today, and select Saturdays for 15 minute listening sessions from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Please call the Children’s and Young Adult Department to register for your preferred sitting time. Today at Marshfield High School, the student council presents the 4th annual Putting for Patients to benefit the Jimmy Fund. Come play 15 holes of mini golf with your friends and family. The cost of the event is $10 for students, $15 for adults and will be held from noon until 4:00 p.m. in the Marshfield High School gym. There will be golf, games, food, caricatures, face painting and more – all provided with the cost of the event. There will also be a long putt contest and opportunity drawing for items such as vacation packages, gift certificates and more!



The South Shore Natural Science Center in Norwell invites you to build with Bill – a wind chimes workshop today from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Join Mr. Bill and the South Shore Natural Science Center naturalists for a fun-filled afternoon ringing in the sounds of spring by building your own artistic wind chime out of metal tubing and natural materials found right in your own backyard. Please plan to bring work gloves, but all other materials will be provided. This program is great for kids ages 4 and older. The fee is $25 for member families and $30 for non-member families. Been to the Fuller Craft Museum in Brockton? Children under 12 are admitted for free and everyone is admitted for free Thursdays from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. Admission is free for Brockton residents! www.fullercraft.org 


The Children’s Museum in Boston costs $1 to enter Fridays from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m.! Current exhibits include Explore-a-Saurus where you can assume the role of scientist and explore the evidence, the science and the features that make dinosaurs so compelling. You can touch and measure a fossil footprint and learn what clues it gives about a dinosaur’s size. You can manipulate a full-size model and learn how they moved and rearrange bone puzzles to learn about dinosaur anatomy.
