In Kingston, a toddler was medflighted to Boston Children’s Hospital after they were struck by a vehicle on Station Street.
The Kingston Police Department says around 9:42 a.m. Saturday, dispatchers received a 911 call reporting the incident. On arrival, officers found the 18-month old child was struck by a Dodge pickup truck that was operated by an 88-year-old man from Pembroke.
The child was taken to a landing zone at Silver Lake High School and was medflighted the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Kingston Police say an investigation was conducted by officers and the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department. As a result of the investigation, they say there will be no criminal charges filed against the operator of the truck.
The Pembroke Police Department assisted Kingston during the incident.
