The Marshfield Police Department says a construction crew was working in front of 2002 Ocean Street, which caused heavy delays along Route 139.
The crew, which was on scene since 8 a.m. Wednesday morning, was hooking up water to the new Veterans Home.
Work was scheduled to be completed by 3 p.m., but the crew encountered an issue and was on scene for an extended period of time Wednesday night. Traffic was slow between the Veterans Park and the Route 3A intersection.
