Meet Bandit! Bandit was found outside as a stray cat, but our friends at Quincy Animal Shelter believe she was once familiar with a human household. Bandit, who is about 7 months old, is mostly a non-fussy eater and a litter box champ; she loves being pet (once you get to know one another). Bandit is not aggressive but will show clear cat body language (swishy tail and the stink eye) if she gets uncomfortable. Bandit is working on not being afraid of a human face near her and being picked up which kind of freaks her out right now. Bandit has lots of extra toes (polydactyl for you science buffs) which she uses to paw through her food bowl to hide food for snacking later. Bandit will need an experienced owner who has a lot of patience, but the payoff for earning her trust will be an incredibly loving companion who will purr all day long (and maybe even drool because she loves it so much!), make muffins, and sit on my favorite windowsill. * Please email any questions to adoptions@quincyanimalshelter.org. *
