A Hingham roadway was flooded following a crash involving an unlicensed driver.
Hingham Police say the crash took place Wednesday after the vehicle drove off the road and struck a hydrant on Whiting St. (Rte. 53) causing the road to become flooded.
The driver, identified only as a 55-year-old man, received minor injuries and police say he never had a license and will be summoned to court.
No other cars were involved.
