At 6:40, the math department at Marshfield High School has created a scholarship in honor of Nicole Downs, a math teacher for 15 years at MHS who died in December of ovarian cancer at the age of 38. In 1957, teens Phil and Don Everly supercharged the vocal sound of Rock’n’roll with “Bye Bye Love” and “Wake Up Little Susie”. Now, six decades later, two acclaimed singer-songwriters present: “The Everly Set: Sean Altman & Jack Skuller Celebrate the Everly Brothers”. The show will take place on Saturday, March 8th at 3:00 p.m. at the Laura’s Center for the Arts at the South Shore YMCA in Hanover.
