Dr. Tutwiler told students about his excitement in being able to announce an opportunity for them and for students across the state:
“And it’s called Massachusetts Revolutionaries: Bold Stories-Bright Legacies. That sounds amazing doesn’t it? This initiative will engage students just like you across the state to learn more about our state’s revolutionary figures. But this project is really about you helping tell of the stories of people who made a difference in Massachusetts, especially those whose stories we have not heard enough about. Maybe you want to share a story of a hero here in Plymouth.”
Secretary Tutwiler went on to say this about history…
“History isn’t just about the past it’s about learning from those who came before, so we can build a brighter future and I can’t wait to see what you all create.”
