Officials say they were made aware of a possible Mall Takeover event in Braintree.
Braintree Police say that on Tuesday they were notified about a social media post advertising a “Braintree Mall takeover” at 7 p.m.
Police say they are concerned about potential public safety risks and have “coordinated staffing, developed a comprehensive operational plan,” and are “working closely with law enforcement partners” to ensure appropriate resources are in place.
The situation is being monitored and police say they will respond accordingly.
