Three people were arrested following a police pursuit and crash in Braintree on Friday.
Massachusetts State Police say that preliminary information shows that just before 2 a.m., a State Trooper on patrol on Route 93 spotted a vehicle that was subject of a Be On the Lookout (BOLO) out of Newton.
The Trooper tried to initiate a traffic stop, but the driver of the vehicle did not stop.
State Police say the vehicle exited the highway in Braintree and they notified Braintree Police.
A crash later took place involving the wanted vehicle and the vehicle’s three occupants attempted to flee on foot before they were taken into custody of Newton Police.
No injuries were reported and the vehicles were towed from the scene.
