In Plymouth, harborside on Thursday, Lt. Governor Karyn Polito, while, focused on celebrating the town’s new maritime facility, also had patriotism in mind.
WATD’s Bobbi Clark, questioned the Lt. Governor about the signficance of Memorial Day:
“It’s a very important weekend for all of us to come together and display and express our gratitude to the men and women who served and sacrificed for our freedom, and especially to their families who suffer the burden of their loss.”
The Lt. Governor says that one way we can repay our gratitude is to display it…
“…attend a ceremony, go visit the gravesite, display the red, white and blue colors, and be patriotic. We have much to be thankful for. We have great communities and a great Commonwealth and none of this would be possible if we didn’t have brave men and women willing to serve.”
