Memorial Day is a day when the nation pays tribute to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their country.
However, this year things are being done differently due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Advocate and retired Navy Seal Tony O’Brien tells WATD News that as a result communities are finding new ways to pay tribute to those who served.
O’Brien tells WATD News that even though services have been impacted during the pandemic they are still available.
However, O’Brien says it’s especially important to take time to think of the families who lost loved ones in service to our country.
