Contested race for Select Board in Plymouth on Ballot this June.

In Plymouth, the town’s Director of Elder Affairs, Michelle Bratti encouraging everyone, and particularly seniors, to vote in the town election next month during Moderator Steven Triffletti’s COVID-19 forum on PACTV.

The Elder Affairs Director is concerned about seniors, who in the Covid-19 era, might not be comfortable going to the polls to vote:

“This election is for Select Board members, Town Meeting Representatives and other various town seats. We encourage Seniors to vote using the absentee ballot method for optimal safety, of course.  If you do choose to vote this way, please get your absentee ballots in as soon as possible so there’s no delay in getting them processed in a timely manner.”

Director Bratti explains that the link for absentee ballot applications can be found on the Town Clerk’s website:

“www.plymouth-ma.gov, on our Facebook page, Center for Active Living and in our Constant Contact email.”

The town election is scheduled for June 20th, and the Select Board race is a contested one.  There are seven candidates running for 2 seats on the Board, including incumbents Betty Cavacco and John Mahoney.  Also running are: Alan Costello, Kevin Lynch, Everett J. Malaguti, Francis Mand, and former Select Board member Richard Quintal.
