In Plymouth, State Representative Matthew Muratore telling Moderator Steven Triffletti, during a forum on PACTV, that the number of Covid 19 cases are going in the right direction, down.
Muratore says the testing that has been done results in numbers that look good, and just from May 19thalone…
“…there were another 7731 tests than the day before, and 873 tested positive, so it’s 11.3%, so that was down. The deaths were up a little bit more to almost to almost 6000 to 5938. The hospitalization rate is right at 3%, a little below 3% right now.”
But a week ago…
“… there were 3127 folks in hospitals in Massachusetts with the Corona virus. Today, we have 2472. So that number is drastically dropping.”
And the number of patients in Intensive Care Units….
“…is at 818 patients in ICU throughout the Commonwealth they’re now down to 672. So the numbers are in the right direction.”
