Cookie (shih Tzu mix) and Cream Puff (yorkie mix) are an adorable duo looking for a home together! They are 9-year-old best friends who need a quiet, adult only home. They came into the Scituate Animal Shelter terribly matted and with extremely long nails. After a good grooming they are feeling great! 

Cream Puff is a very easy going guy. He enjoys a warm lap to sleep in and walks outside. He isn’t one for toys, but will follow you around until you can settle and cuddle with him. He does need frequent outs throughout the day since he’s such a little guy.

Cookie is a bit more of a spit fire with lots of energy! He does well with a long morning walk, as that helps him settle for the day. Cookie loves squeaky toys and will entertain himself by throwing them around the house.

Cookie takes a while to warm up to new people. His new home needs to be prepared to work on some training when it comes to reactivity to seeing other dogs and new people. If you go slow with Cookie and earn his trust he is a real lap dog who loves attention. If you go too quickly with him, Cookie will become nervous and may snap to let you know.

If you are interested in Cream Puff and Cookie and feel they are a good fit for you, please make sure you meet the following criteria:

-Quiet home without frequent visitors.
-No other pets in the home
-Willingness to work with Cookie on some basic training when it comes to reactivity
-Adult only home
