Marshfield: Fair Cancelled this Year

It’s been a Marshfield institution since 1867, but this year there will be no Marshfield Fair this year.
Lenny Laforest is the President of the Marshfield Agricultural Society, the organization behind the fair.
“With the pandemic going on and then with all the other disturbances, we figured that it was not fair to the community or to our membership to continue the fair for this year”
This would have been the 153rd Marshfield Fair, Laforest says they will be back next year.
Laforest says tonight they’ll be talking with Marshfield Selectmen about possibly hosting a different type of venue there involving some type of drive in.
