Plymouth’s Annual Town Election had a tight race for the second of two seats on the select board.
Incumbent Betty Cavacco easily won the most votes in a field of seven candidates. But former board member Dick Quintal received 328 more votes than incumbent John Mahoney. Quintal served on the board in the early 2000’s, voted out as chairman. Mahoney has served on the board for 12 years. He ran unsuccessfully for state representative and state senator. The board meets Tuesday evening. The first item on the agenda will be re-organization.
