Senator Susan Moran chooses Plymouth for site of district office.
In Plymouth, newly installed Senator for the Plymouth and Barnstable district, Falmouth’s Susan Moran, telling Moderator Steven Triffletti, during a PACTV forum, that she‘s locating her district office in town.
Senator Moran says her district office will be at Cordage Park:
“It is the same office that Senator DeMacedo had. We are prioritizing constituent services, Monica Mullen is the Director of Constituent Services. And, we’re already up and running. At this point, we have been looking at the Governor’s guidelines, he just put out phase 2 guidelines which will begin on June 6th with respect to basic standards for restaurants and operating of lodgings. And we’re happy to be a resource if anyone has questions.”
And there’s no question that Plymouth is a heavy-weight in the district. Of over 120,000 registered voters in this district, Plymouth is home to well over a third of those voters. So, Moran’s choice of Plymouth as the site of the district office is a strategic one. The Plymouth Barnstable District, in addition to Plymouth, consists of the towns of Kingston, Pembroke, Bourne, Sandwich and Falmouth.
Moran is scheduled to run for re-election in November. She won the recent special election with 55 percent of the vote.
