Meet Beth!
At first our friends at the Scituate Animal Shelter thought 1-year-old Beth was a feral cat. She was trapped under a shed with her kittens. Her kittens were adopted and after she was spayed she began looking at the shelter staff and “winking.” Although she would hiss or run away when approached, she seemed to want to be around people, but she was not sure how. Over the past few weeks, she began to rub against the staff’s legs and loves following people around. She does not yet like to be touches but she is making great progress.
Adoptions are by appointment only so send a note to adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org for more information!
