State Police seized fentanyl, cocaine, and cash, and three people were arrested after an investigation into drug dealing in Brockton.
Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz says in June, State Police detectives assigned to his office started the investigation after a fatal overdose.
Police identified 21-year-old Dakim “CJ” Simpson of Brockton as an alleged fentanyl distributor, selling out of his residence at 41 Teele Street.
A search warrant was executed on Saturday morning with Brockton and State Police entering that address without incident. Police seized about 73.7 grams of suspected fentanyl, about 8 grams of cocaine, and $28,000 in cash.
Police arrested Simpson and 40-year-old Kimberly Johnson on numerous drug charges.
26-year-old Jarvis Williams was arrested for an outstanding warrant for Assault and Battery on a Family Member.
All three are expected to be arraigned today at Brockton District Court.
