The Animal Protection Center of Southeastern MA wants to send Sam home – with you!
Sam is a very handsome 10 year old cat in need of a quiet, adult only home. He spent his life living with just one owner and was very happy in that situation. When his owner moved and Sam had to live with children, he could not adjust to the change and was very stressed- hissing/swatting at the kids. This is how Sam came to be teamed up with our friends at the Animal Protection Center of Southeastern MA.
When he first got to the shelter, he was pretty upset and didn’t want anyone bothering him much. After a couple of weeks to settle, he’s calmed down and the team has been able to see his true, sweet personality! Sam LOVES chin & face scratches from people he trusts and will roll around on the floor begging for more!
Because he has shown that he doesn’t handle change very well, we are hoping to find him a home with someone that has a quiet life and isn’t planning on moving or relocating anytime soon. He has never lived with other pets, but given what we know about him, we think it’s best he be the only animal in a home. We very much want his next home to be the one he can call his forever!
The shelter is currently closed to visitors and operating by appointment only. If you are interested in learning more about Sam, give us a call Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 1-4pm; Saturday & Sunday: 12-4pm at 508-586-2053 or email info@apcsm.org
