Quincy: Man Accused of Assaulting Woman on Red Line Train

A Quincy man is accused of assaulting a woman on a Red Line train.
MBTA Transit Police say that at approximately 11 a.m. Monday an officer was approached by a female at Quincy Center Station who said that she was indecently assaulted by a male between the North Quincy and Quincy Center stations.
She said the man was attempting to engage her in conversation prior to the assault.
The victim provided a description and officers conducted a search which lead them to find 38-year-old James Newhall on the 1400 block of Hancock St.
The victim positively identified Newhall as the assailant and he was arrested on a charge of Indecent Assault and Battery.
