Brockton Police are investigating after five men were injured in a shooting, and a woman was stabbed outside of a party on Laureston Street.
Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz says State Police detectives and Brockton Police are investigating the incidents outside a party Saturday night.
Around 9:50 p.m, a woman walked into the Brockton Fire Station on Main Street with stab wounds. She was given treatment, but she refused further care and left the station. The woman later called police requiring assistance and she was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital.
Brockton police say shortly after 10:30 last night, they received a gunfire alert from ShotSpotter.
A Brockton police officer responded to the scene at 124 Laureston Street and tended to one of the victims — who was seriously wounded — until firefighters and an ambulance arrived.
Two men made it to a hospital on their own with non-life threatening injuries. Brewster Ambulance transported three men to local hospitals. They were identified as four men from Boston and one man from Everett.
An investigation found that the home was rented and a large party took place outside the residence.
Brockton Police and the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office are investigating the incident.
