The state department of public health has notified Carver that mosquitoes in town have tested positive for EEE.
As a result of the new testing, the EEE risk level has been raised from moderate to high.
The Carver Board of Health has issued a ban on all outside activities from dusk to dawn.
This includes all town playgrounds, athletic fields at the High School and Elementary School, Shurtleff Park, and all Town Beaches.
