George has been in foster care with CARE Southcoast for more than a year and it’s time to find George a forever home. We want to thank Brayden and Kerin for telling us about George and asking for our help to spread the word about this wonderful pup!
George is a hound-mix around 4 years old. He generally likes other dogs but does need proper introductions to them – George is not a “dog park dog.” He needs slow intros to new people to be set up for success. This means that anyone who is new to George will have to be okay with taking it slow. But once he trusts you, he’s very sweet and snuggly. George likes to run, walk, hike, swim and is an all around great adventure buddy. He would do best with a fenced in yard and it is a requirement to adopt him; the more time he spends outside, the happier he is. He knows his basic commands and walks well on leash! George needs a home with no kids, and in fact our friends at CARE Southcoast have a list of requirements for George and are asking kindly that you do NOT inquire about George if:
-Anyone under 18 lives in your home
-You have roommates
-You do not plan to use a crate
-You are not open to balanced training
-You do not have a fenced in yard
George is living with a foster family and if you’d like to learn more about George please email Caredogvolunteers@gmail.com.
