One person was hospitalized following a single car crash in Carver.

Police say that at about 5:18 p.m. Monday first responders were sent to the area of 82 Federal Road for a report of a motor vehicle accident with possible entrapment.

Crews arrived on scene where they found a 2007 Subaru Legacy that had left the roadway and struck a utility pole.

The driver, a 49-year-old Wareham woman, sustained serious but what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries.

She was treated on-scene by Carver EMS before being transported to the hospital.

Police say they haven’t determined what caused the vehicle to leave the roadway.

However, the driver was cited for Operating a Motor Vehicle with a suspended license and they say further charges may be pending.
