Julep is a one-year-old girl looking for her forever home. Despite her southern name she was born here in MA, outside actually.

Some nice people fed her and petted her, eventually she was trapped and spayed and really took to becoming an indoor cat during her recovery with her foster family. Julep’s favorite things are head and ear scratches, plastic balls with bells and a ball that goes around in a track. She has developed a little sass so no small children for Julep’s home. She is timid when people come towards her too fast or loudly. If you are slow and quiet she will reward you with a kiss and head butts. She loves playing with her foster kitty friends so if you have a younger playful cat that would be pawsome! However Julep can entertain herself too.  Our friends at Standish Humane Society do ask that in her new home she be kept in a crate for a few weeks. She feels really safe and relaxed in it. This way she can be totally focused on getting to know her new family, instead of being scared. Let’s help Julep find her perfect new home!
