In the Democratic Primary for State Rep. in the 10th Plymouth District, incumbent Michelle DuBois won the race over challenger John Lally.
With unofficial results, DuBois won with 4,044 votes to 2,932.
Lally won in West Bridgewater, but DuBois won in East Bridgewater and in Brockton. She had 3,127 votes and Lally had 1,907 in the city.
Cynthia Scrivani, the Executive Director of the Brockton Elections Commission, says early voting ballots were a challenge.
Other than that, she says the election went better than expected. Voter turnout in Brockton was 30 percent, a little higher than normal.
