Local singers will have an opportunity to take their shot at stardom when American Idol comes to town…in a virtual sense.
American Idol producer Patrick Lynn tells WATD News that after registering online you will receive a link that will begin a process that tries to mirror the traditional audition.
Lynn says although they have tried to recreate the pre-COVID audition process as much as possible this change does provide one benefit for this year’s participants.
The audition date for Massachusetts is Wednesday. However, Lynn says that’s not the only time available.
