Buddy is a sweet, but shy boy looking for his forever home.
This little guy came to the Animal Protection Center of Southeastern Mass (APCSM) after living in a house with over 20 dogs. After living in a home with so many other dogs, Buddy needs to be the only pet in his home.
Buddy, a 4 year-old Chihuahua, is looking for a home with a patient and kind person who is willing to work with him on his reactivity to dogs, and nervousness of new situations and people.
Buddy needs to be in an adult only home, and would do best in a home with only one person. He does seem to prefer women. Buddy should live with someone who has had dogs before, and is ready to show him that the world is not such a scary place.
With the right person, and positive reinforcement training, we think Buddy will flourish into the confident and sweet boy we know he can be. Buddy’s adoption fee includes a training class at the shelter to get him started on the right paw in his furever home.
The shelter is operating by appointment only. Please call 508-586-2053 Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday: between 1-4pm or email info@apcsm.org for adoption information.
