Braintree Police are investigating an early morning break-in at a Burger King.
Braintree Police Chief Mark Dubois says they responded to the 165 Pearl Street location around 4:30 Tuesday morning.
Officers spoke with an employee who arrived to open the store. When the employee entered the store, they noticed one of the cash registers was broken on the ground.
After a check of the building, four cash registers were found to be forced open. Officers found a backpack with tools in the store. They say there was no sign of forced entry.
