A Norwell woman accused of misleading a police investigation into a 2015 Marshfield murder has been sentenced to prison on drug trafficking charges.
In November of 2019, 40-year-old Brianna St. Peter was sentenced to prison after it was found she violated terms of her probation.
In 2017, St. Peter pleaded guilty to witness intimidation charges and wiretapping grand jury proceedings into the 2015 murder of Robert McKenna in Marshfield. She put a phone into a friend’s pocket and recorded the proceedings. She was sentenced to serve six months in jail and three years probation.
Michael Moscaritolo, Mark O’Brien, and James Ferguson were sentenced to life in prison for their roles in the murder.
In 2019, St. Peter was charged with trafficking fentanyl and other drugs out of her home on Arrowhead Drive in Norwell. The charges were the result of a months-long investigation by the Scituate, Norwell, Hanover, and Hull Police Departments.
Police said in reports while tracking a list of suspected customers, it became apparent that many of them had suffered non-fatal overdoses, and they felt it was unsafe to conduct a controlled purchase from St. Peter.
At her arraignment for those charges, Judge CJ Moriarty sentenced her to 8-to-10 years in prison for the witness intimidation charge.
Earlier this month, St. Peter pleaded guilty to five drug trafficking charges and was sentenced to 6-to-8 year sentences. Those are to run concurrent with the probation violation sentence.
