In Rockland, the Selectmen say it’s up to residents to decide how they want to trick-or-treat this Halloween.
The Board felt that people should follow guidelines from the state and CDC, but it’s not something they really can enforce.
Police Chief John Llewellyn says trick-or-treating will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. this year.
Town Administrator Doug Lapp says per state guidelines, people should stay home if they’re not feeling well or if they’ve been in contact with a person who has COVID symptoms.
Guidelines and tips for Halloween are posted on the CDC website.
