South Shore: COVID-19 Pandemic Leaves Would Be Fridge Buyers in the Cold

by | Oct 1, 2020 | News

The COVID-19 Pandemic has made many aspects of life harder, including the purchase of a new refrigerator.

Alan Stern, who handles Commercial Sales for George Washington Toma TV & Appliance in Brockton and Weymouth, tells WATD News this also comes at a time when demand is increasing.

Stern also says that shortages are being seen with other types of appliances as well, although not as severely.

With that in mind Stern says it’s good to place your order as soon as possible.

Stern says a wait for a new refrigerator can be as long as 90 days depending on the model.
