COVID-19 vaccine preparations in Marshfield is being called Operation Shot.
WATD’s David Cedrone has the story:
Marshfield Town Manager Michael Maresco gave an update to the board of selectmen about his plan for preparing for the COVID-19 vaccine that may be available by next month.
Maresco says a vaccine task force has been put together and the first move was to purchase the freezer that is needed to store the COVID-19 vaccine which needs to remain in very cold temperatures.
Maresco also spoke about how the vaccine would be distributed in order of those in greater risk.
The vaccination task force called Operation Shot was voted on and passed for the town of Marshfield and will work on getting the vaccine for COVID-19 to the public when it is received by the town.
