A State Trooper has been hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle in Milton.
Massachusetts State Police say the trooper’s cruiser was struck by a suspected drunk driver of a Ford F-250 pickup truck on I- 93 southbound shortly before 10:30 p.m. Monday
The male Trooper was taken to Milton Hospital for treatment of what are described as minor injuries.
The suspect, 40-year-old Kimberly Johnson of Brockton, was placed under arrest for OUI-Alcohol and is expected to be arraigned today in Quincy District Court.
Three lanes on I-93 southbound were closed for a time before being reopened at 12:15 a.m. Tuesday.
