A man armed with a knife was shot by police in Brockton Monday afternoon.
The man reportedly came at police on Overlook Avenue just before 3pm, while police were responding to a report of a domestic violence incident.
The man was treated at the scene by paramedics and then transported to the hospital where he died.
The incident is being investigated by State Police Detectives assigned to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s office.
