Brockton: Police Officer Treated after Patrol Vehicle Crash

A Brockton police officer was treated at a local hospital after his police vehicle crashed off Court Street Saturday evening.
Police spokesman Darren Duarte says bright headlights of an oncoming vehicle in the same lane, mixed with bad road conditions appears to be the cause of the crash.
The 24-year-old officer slid off the road, his cruiser struck multiple trees near 738 Court Street around 5 p.m. Saturday.
The officer was treated at a local hospital and was released. The driver of the unidentified vehicle did not stop.
