A 21-year-old Middleboro man was ordered to be held without bail after he was arraigned on charges in connection to the murder of his parents.

Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz says Ryan True pleaded not guilty to two counts of murder Friday at Wareham District Court.

Middleboro Police responded to True’s home at 3 Highland Street Thursday morning for a well-being check. After officers forced entry, they found 52-year-old David True and 55-year-old Renee True. Both had visible trauma and were stabbed multiple times.

After an investigation, police developed probable cause and made contact with Ryan True away from the home, and he was arrested.

True was sent to Bridgewater State Hospital for further evaluation. He’s set to appear in court on January 4th.
