Norwell Man Arrested in Cohasset Break-in Captured on Ring Camera

A Norwell man is under arrest for allegedly breaking into a Cohasset home early Sunday morning and then returning later Sunday night and attempting to gain entrance a second time.

Cohasset police say 27-year-old Dylan Donahue, is facing felony charges of breaking into a building in the nightime, and possession of burglarious tools.

About 1:30 am on Sunday a break in at an Atlantic Avenue home was captured on the homeowners Ring doorbell camera.

He took off his mask as he entered the home-the camera captured his picture.

An alert was also sent to the homeowner on Sunday night when a man was seen on the ring camera trying to break into the home.

The homeowner, who was not at home at the time, called police and the man was apprehended in the home’s backyard.

The investigation is ongoing and there may be additional charges.
