On Thursday, Wareham Police say that officers and members of the Drug Enforcement Administration conducted the raid at a room at the Village Motel on Cranberry Highway.
The entry was complicated by a door that had been fortified with a board fastened by metal brackets.
Once entry was made the suspect, 44-year-old Richard Rodriguez, was taken into custody and a search of the room began.
Police say the search resulted in the seizure of approximately 20 grams of suspected crack cocaine, and 90 grams of suspected cocaine, $500 in cash, and multiple other items consistent with the illegal narcotics trade.
Rodriguez was charged with trafficking in more than 100 grams of cocaine.
